By Car: Driving from Mickle Trafford, start on the A56 Chester Road near the Shrewsbury Arms and head south.

Take the first left onto Wells Close and join the eastbound A55 North Wales Expressway at the Hoole roundabout.

Exit the expressway at the A51 junction, turn left onto Tarvin Road, and go straight through the traffic lights at the Stamford Bridge Inn. Turn left off the main bypass into Tarvin village.

By Bus: Catch the Bus X2 from the stop near the Shrewsbury Arms, travelling into the city centre. Get off the bus at the Chester Bus Interchange, then board the eastbound 82 bus or 84 bus. The route goes down the A51, dropping off in Tarvin village.
