Why refer to Tudor House Dental Surgery?

We’ve been caring for patients since 1983 and are located on Tarvin High Street, around 15 minutes from Chester city centre, with easy local parking and step-free access.

Our approach is built around working collaboratively with referring dentists and dental practices, rather than taking over the patient’s ongoing dental care.

Our clinicians bring a wealth of experience and postgraduate training across implantology, endodontics, restorative dentistry and clear aligner technology, allowing us to accept referrals across several areas of dentistry.

  • Implantology: Dr Valantine has a Master’s in Dental Specialities (Implantology) from the University of Manchester and accepts single implants through advanced cases, including bone grafting.
  • Endodontics: Dr Javorskis has a special interest in endodontics and completed endodontic specialist training before moving to the UK.
  • Restorative dentistry: Principal Dentist Dr Gupta has an MSc in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Manchester.
  • Orthodontics: Dr Gupta and Dr Mohan provide teeth straightening, with both clinicians certified to provide Invisalign.

Meet the team.

How we’ll care for your patient

Once we receive the referral, we’ll review the information and arrange an appointment with the appropriate dentist.

From here, we’ll assess their condition, findings, available treatment options, likely timescales and costs before treatment begins.

Throughout their treatment, we’ll keep you fully informed and work alongside you rather than replace you as their general dentist.

Where a patient has been referred specifically for a particular procedure or course of treatment, they can return to your care once that treatment has been completed.

How the dental referral process works

  • Send your referral: Complete the referral form with the patient’s details, relevant clinical history, reason for referral and any useful existing radiographs or supporting information.
  • Review your referral: We’ll review the information, assign the relevant clinician, and contact the patient to book their initial assessment.
  • Treatment planning: The appropriate dentist will assess the patient and determine the most suitable treatment pathway, recommending further investigations where clinically necessary.
  • Treatment consent: We’ll review timescales, process, and costs with the patient, and obtain consent to complete the procedure and proceed.
  • Completion: Once the referred treatment is complete, your patient can return to your practice for their ongoing routine dental care.

Returning your patient to your care

We aim to build, respect and maintain relationships with our referrers.

Our role is to provide the treatment or additional expertise, while working with you as their general dentist.

Once treatment is complete, we’ll return the patient to your care as appropriate and provide relevant information about the treatment they’ve received and any ongoing maintenance requirements.

If you have questions about your patient’s treatment at any stage, you’re welcome to contact the Tudor House Dental team at any time with any questions so we can help you support their long-term care.
