Types of porcelain veneers

We offer various types of porcelain veneers based on the clinical situation; we’ll recommend a specific kind after a consultation.

Patients can rest assured that we provide high-quality aesthetic materials, such as pure lithium disilicate (Emax veneers), widely regarded as one of the strongest and most durable porcelain types, while also delivering excellent translucency.

In addition, we provide zirconia combined with porcelain when additional strength is needed or when correcting specific imperfections that involve more complex structural issues.

Our range of porcelain veneers enables us to tailor treatment to each patient’s specific clinical needs while achieving optimal aesthetic and functional results.

Porcelain veneer costs – some of the most affordable in Chester

Like other cosmetic clinics in Cheshire, our dental veneers are charged by the tooth – this is because some patients only want to improve a few problem teeth (like the two front teeth, for example), or others who want to makeover their full smile (for some patients this might be 6 teeth, for others it might be up to 10).

What’s special about our porcelain veneers

Our porcelain veneers are not generic or a one-size-fits-all model – they’re entirely bespoke and custom-made according to your specifications.

Our cosmetic dentists will digitally design your new smile, ensuring your new teeth suit your face and proportions and align with your goals.

Before we send the designs, shades and specs to the lab for production, you’ll preview and approve the mock-ups.

Once they’re made, you’ll even get to try them on and test them, ensuring you’re happy with every curve. This process is essential to ensure your final look looks and feels natural.

so thin that they do not compromise your teeth as much as traditional veneers

Porcelain veneers last much longer than composite alternatives – this is because they’re bonded more strongly onto your natural tooth, which requires a small bit of tooth preparation. And when we say small, we mean it; we’ll only remove up to 0.5mm of enamel to bond the veneer – we’ll never have to file down your teeth to stubs or compromise their structure.

Our veneers are lightweight, minimally invasive and sit on the front surface of the tooth, not covering entirely like a crown. To avoid any tooth prep, you can opt for composite veneers, which are more conservative.

The porcelain veneer process

The porcelain veneer timeline typically takes 3 weeks from start to finish:

  • The consultation: Dr Gupta or Dr Mohan will listen to your goals and hear what you expect from cosmetic treatment to recommend the type and brand of veneers that will be the best for your situation. We’ll also assess your oral health, gums and bite to ensure your suitability for treatment. During this appointment, we’ll also shade map, provide an accurate quote, and explore dental financing.
  • Mock-up: You’ll be fitted with temporary veneers based on your final set so that you can try your new smile at home for the first time. This will be your opportunity to say what you like and what you don’t, so we can make any final adjustments.
  • preparation: Next, we’ll start preparing your teeth to start your journey.
  • The final appointment: Once you’re happy, we’ll be ready to move on and place your permanent veneers. During this appointment, we’ll bond them to your teeth, check your bite (and your satisfaction), make any tweaks we need to, and you’re done.
