By Car: Driving from Elton, start near Elton Shops and head south on Ince Lane, crossing over the M56 past the Encirc glass plant.
Join the eastbound A5117, then turn right at the traffic lights onto the southbound A56 Chester Road.
Pass Helsby High School and down through Mickle Trafford, turning left onto the A55 bypass at the Hoole roundabout.
Exit the expressway at the A51 junction, turn left onto Tarvin Road, and go straight through the traffic lights at the Stamford Bridge Inn. Turn left off the main bypass into Tarvin village.
By Bus: Catch the Bus 2 from Elton Shops, travelling past the Countess of Chester Hospital into the city centre. Alight at the Chester Bus Interchange, then board the eastbound 82 bus or 84 bus. The route goes past the Vicars Cross Golf Club and down the A51, dropping off in Tarvin village by the Tarvin Methodist Church.
