Acrylic, Cobalt, Flexible or retained dentures

“If I could give these ladies, Disha and Lesley along with the team, 10 stars, I would. I cannot express how dedicated and professional they are in everything, including their attention to detail, care, and compassion. I highly recommend that anyone needing dental care contact me for routine and complex dental work. I am over the moon with the results of my denture, which they turned around in 48 hours for me.”

Your Denture Options, Explained Clearly by Our Friendly Team

Whether you need partial acrylic dentures or full dentures, we offer several cost-effective, easy-to-adjust options suitable for a single tooth to a full arch.

  • Acrylic dentures: Easiest to adjust, repair and add to. Available in partial or full.  Acrylic dentures are a cost-effective option for replacing one, several or all missing teeth.
  • Cobalt chrome dentures (metal): Slimmer, stronger and long-lasting. Available in partial or full. Cobalt chrome dentures can feel lighter and less bulky than acrylic and may be suitable for longer-term tooth replacement
  • Flexible dentures: Thin and comfortable. Available for partial tooth loss (no metal components). Flexible dentures are often suitable for partial tooth loss and can be a very discreet option.
  • Implant-retained: Secured by implants. Best for durability. Suitable for full arches and partial tooth loss. Implant-retained dentures can improve stability, biting force and confidence. Suitable for patients who struggle with loose dentures.

The denture process - timelines and what to expect

Most dentures are made and prepared over several visits, which typically include your impressions, bite and smile design, try-in, fit, and adjustments.

The entire process can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of your case. That said, there are immediate options you can explore with us during a smile consultation

Living with dentures: what patients ask us

There is a slight adjustment period, but patients typically adapt quickly with little practice.

Remove them and brush them daily with a soft brush, soap and warm water. You’re also advised to soak them overnight in water.

We’ll review your case after fitting, and then you’ll require routine exams to ensure a stable fit in the long term and maintain your oral health, every 6-12 months.

Tudor House Dental is in Tarvin, around 15 minutes from Chester. We regularly see patients from Chester, Tarvin, Tarporley, Kelsall, Christleton, Frodsham, Hoole, Boughton, Handbridge and nearby villages who need partial dentures, full dentures, flexible dentures or implant-retained dentures.
