General dentistry typically includes routine check-ups, X-rays where needed, preventative advice, hygiene support, and treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, extractions and dentures.

How often should I have a dental check-up?

Your dentist will recommend a recall interval based on your oral health and risk factors. Many patients attend every 6–12 months, but this can be more frequent if needed.

Do you offer emergency dental appointments?

Yes. If you have toothache, swelling, dental trauma, or a lost filling or crown, you can contact the practice to arrange an urgent assessment and appropriate treatment.

What is the difference between a filling and a crown?

A filling repairs a smaller area of decay or damage within a tooth. A crown covers and protects the whole tooth when it is weakened, heavily restored, cracked, worn, or after root canal treatment.

Are tooth-coloured fillings available?

Yes. Composite (tooth-coloured) fillings are commonly available and are designed to blend with natural enamel while restoring strength and function.

Can children be seen for general dental care?

As we recommend two check-ups and two hygiene appointments a year, patients can end up spending £280 for their dental care. However, if you join our monthly membership and spend £21 per month, you’ll actually spend £28 less than you would without the plan. Additionally, if you require a dental filling at any point during the year, you’ll save an extra 10%, making treatment £38.50 cheaper.
